State of Mississippi Public Funds Collateral Program

The State of Mississippi Treasury Department oversees the collateralization process for all institutions approved as a public depository in the Statewide Public Funds Collateral Program.  On a daily basis, the Treasury monitors collateralization requirements maintained for all of the institutions holding public funds.  By using this method, we can provide a better level of assurance to our public entities that their funds are properly safeguarded.
